macOS Installation
Installation Steps
- Locate the downloaded
.dmgfile in your Downloads folder - Double-click the
.dmgfile to open it - Drag the IVVI icon to your Applications folder
- Eject the disk image by dragging it to the Trash
- Open IVVI from your Applications folder or Launchpad
- The first time you open IVVI, you may need to right-click and select "Open" to bypass Gatekeeper

Windows Installation
Installation Steps
- Locate the downloaded
.exefile - Double-click the installer to begin installation
- Follow the installation wizard prompts
- Launch IVVI from the Start menu or desktop shortcut
- On first run, Windows may show a security prompt - click "Run anyway"

First Time Setup
- Create your account or sign in with existing credentials
- Grant permissions for microphone access (for audio features)
- Allow notifications for collaboration features
- Choose your preferred language and theme
System Requirements
Minimum:
- macOS 10.15 or Windows 10
- 4GB RAM
- 500MB free disk space
- Internet connection for cloud features
Recommended:
- macOS 12+ or Windows 11
- 8GB RAM or more
- 1GB free disk space
- Stable internet connection
Quick Start Guide
- Create a new map: Click the "+" button or use Ctrl+N (Cmd+N on Mac)
- Add nodes: Double-click on empty space or press Enter
- Connect ideas: Drag from one node to another
- Record audio: Click the microphone icon to add voice notes
- Collaborate: Share your map link with others to work together
Troubleshooting
App won't start?
- Try restarting your computer
- Check if antivirus software is blocking the app
- Ensure you have sufficient disk space
Audio features not working?
- Grant microphone permissions in system settings
- Check that your microphone is properly connected
- Try restarting the application
