Smarter File Management, Faster Maps, and Improved Desktop Experience
🔄 Improvements
- Faster map filtering: Filters now respond almost instantly, even on large maps. Switching icon filters is up to 10 times faster.
- Faster photo uploads: Photos captured or selected on your phone are automatically optimized for quicker uploads, with sharper previews and unnecessary metadata removed.
- Faster mobile capture: The phone capture page loads significantly faster by downloading fewer resources.
- Clearer progress indicators: Progress labels now appear above thin progress bars, making them easier to read. Long labels are automatically shortened. Screenshot
- Improved map search: The modern layout now features a larger, centered search field that adapts to smaller screens. Maps reliably navigate to each matching branch. Screenshot
- Better sync visibility: File synchronization now displays progress percentages in notifications and the desktop menu bar. When closing the app during synchronization, you can see the progress or cancel.
- Improved AI reliability: Updated AI models to maintain compatibility and keep AI features working.
- Clearer Toolbox button: The Toolbox now has a recognizable toolbox icon instead of a pin.
✨ New Features
- Trash with 30-day recovery: Deleted maps and folders now appear in Trash, where you can restore them or delete them permanently. Items are automatically removed after 30 days.
- Undo accidental deletions: A notification lets you immediately undo moving a map or folder to Trash.
- Read-only deleted maps: Maps in Trash remain accessible for viewing but cannot be edited until restored.
- Browser-based desktop sign-in: Sign in or create an account through your browser, including support for email-link authentication.
- Chrome extension file management: Maps can now be saved, renamed, moved between folders, and synchronized with the cloud directly in Chrome.
